Upon receiving permission to return to on-campus research activities, by commencing activities, all researchers and research groups are agreeing to abide by the following:

  • Take preventative measures to limit the spread of COVID-19, including the maintenance of social distancing, masking, proper hand hygiene, and cleaning procedures for all personnel.
  • If you feel sick or exhibit any symptoms consistent with COVID-19, stay home and self-isolate for 14 days after symptoms no longer persist.
  • Understand that increasing personnel and activities in our on-campus facilities means taking further risks in each of our personal and work lives, which are carried forward to all of our families/roommates.
Due to the weight of this responsibility, safety violations and noncompliance, such as but not limited to not completing building entrance surveys, unauthorized entrance, and not maintaining CDC principles of health precautions and social distancing, could result in loss of Penn State building access for the researcher and potentially any associated personnel.
  • Print a signed copy of the Safety Procedures for Businesses and post it in the workspace.
  • Follow instructions for responding to reported cases (suspected and confirmed) of COVID-19.
