Additional Information

Ashleigh is a speech-language pathologist in the two middle schools of the Wilson School District in West Lawn, Pennsylvania—the same school district that she attended from kindergarten through graduation. Her mission is to help students become successful communicators. She works with students who have articulation, receptive and expressive language, social language, and oral fluency needs.

She earned a B.S. in 2014 and an M.A. in 2016 from Penn State, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders. While an undergraduate, she was a varsity cheerleader for football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's volleyball, and men's and women's ice hockey events. She is currently a fitness instructor at a local gym in Reading, Pennsylvania. During her graduate studies, she was the graduate representative on the Communication Sciences and Disorders Affiliate Program Group (CSD APG), and afterwards a member of the CSD APG Board. In summer 2018, Ashleigh began her current leadership role as the CSD APG President. She plans to remain a volunteer to the college of HHD and the University in the future.
