Responsibilities

Communication
Specializes in building and maintaining long-term relationships with internal and external customers, e.g., high profile leaders in academia and multistakeholder regional health care collaboratives

Qualitative & Quantitative Data Collection
Supports development of semi-structured qualitative interview protocols
Conducts qualitative interviews and focus groups
Collects qualitative documentation data (program process tracking, social media tracking, etc.)
Conducts literature reviews

Data Processing, Analysis & Synthesis
Assists in the development of qualitative codebooks and codes key informant interview data
Analyzes qualitative interview data and documentation data to inform journal articles, research summaries, and team presentations
Experience using qualitative data analysis software including Atlas.ti and Dedoose
Collaborates with team members to develop team deliverables

Management & Coordination
Project management (including for researchers external to CHCPR and Penn State)
Schedules and coordinates data collection activities with research participants; helps prepare researchers
Manages key informant interview audio files and transcripts
Edits and co-authors team products (e.g., reports, research summaries, journal articles, surveys, etc.)
