Since 2006 Joe has served as the PGA General Manager at the Penn State Golf Courses. He oversees the entire golf operation including golf maintenance. His duties center on budgets, human resources, merchandising, public relations, and business planning.
Since 2006 Joe has served as the PGA General Manager at the Penn State Golf Courses. He oversees the entire golf operation including golf maintenance. His duties center on budgets, human resources, merchandising, public relations, and business planning. In 2010, his operation received the Philadelphia PGA's “Merchandiser of the Year Award,” and has been a finalist for the last four years in this category for the PGA’s National Award. Beyond his job responsibilities, he works with RPTM classes, the PGM Program, and Penn State Athletics. He currently serves as the Head Golf Coach for the Centre County Special Olympics Team.
Joe earned a B.S. in Professional Golf Management from Penn State in 1999. In 2007 he received both the HHD and RPTM “Emerging Professional Undergraduate Degree Award.” He has served as president of the Professional Golf Management APG and sat on its Executive Board. His main joys in life are his two girls and his loving wife Dayna. During his free time, he loves to play golf, fish, and enjoy the outdoors with his friends and family.
