The 2017 Nutrition Alumni Brunch was a Success!
Thank you to everyone who traveled to University Park to attend the Nutrition Alumni Brunch on Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Nittany Lion Inn. Our annual brunch featured a speed networking event for students, award presentations, a department update.
Speed Networking Event
The speed networking event provided career advice for students.
View a list of alumni who participated in the speed networking event, along with their bios.
The alumni participants provided students with a brief summary of their careers in nutrition and then spent a majority of the time answering questions from students on career choices and how to prepare for a successful career.
If you are interested in serving on a future career panel or participate in a speed networking event, please contact Barbara Kochanowski, NDAS president, at bkochanowski@msn.com or Kristi Stoehr, assistant director of alumni relations, at klf133@psu.edu
Guest Speaker, David Frankenfield, M.S., R.D.
David Frankenfield, M.S., R.D., Chief Clinical Dietician, Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, provided the brunch attendees with an overview of the fascinating research that he is conducting.
Congratulations to our Award Winners!
Congratulations to the following individuals who were award recipients this year. Their awards were presented at the Alumni Brunch from NDAS Co-Vice Presidents Gwen Choder and Alex Hast.
