Penn State Dietetic Internship
Upon recent approval by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND), the Dietetic Internship at The Pennsylvania State University will close on August 31, 2019. The current class of 2018-2019 will be the final class. The Dietetic Internship will not be participating in the Spring 2019 computer matching process.
The Experiential Track of the Master of Professional Studies (MPS) in Nutritional Sciences received final accreditation as a Future Education Model Graduate Program to prepare Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. The Experiential Track of the MPS program has a leadership emphasis and will integrate online graduate-level didactic coursework with in-residence supervised experiential learning with locations in Hershey, PA or University Park, PA and surrounding areas. The first class of the new program will begin May 2019.
Additional details about the accredited track, including program requirements, curriculum, application and selection processes, important dates, virtual open house (Jan. 23, 2019 4-5pm), and costs can be found on our program website.
