Through a series of yearly workshops, participants gain valuable insights on teaching, research, and career development. The program also offers networking opportunities, allowing faculty to build connections across the college and beyond, fostering collaboration and mentorship. This program empowers early career faculty to navigate their professional journey with confidence and thrive in their academic careers.

Faculty Mentoring Circles
New Program Launching This Spring!
We are excited to announce the launch of the Faculty Mentoring Circles Program, starting in the upcoming spring semester co-led by Molly Countermine and Nicole Webster. This program is designed to foster collaboration and peer support among faculty members, creating a structured environment for sharing experiences, insights, and strategies for professional growth. Whether you're navigating the early stages of your academic career or seeking fresh perspectives as a seasoned educator, the mentoring circles offer a unique opportunity to connect, learn, and grow with your colleagues. Join us to enhance your teaching, research, and leadership skills in a supportive community.
Advancing Your Career Series
This annual series is designed to help our early career faculty put their best foot forward when seeking advancement.
Advancing Your Career: Promotion & Tenure Workshop
Tenure-track early career faculty members are invited to learn more about the promotion and tenure process and how to ensure they are doing the best they can to prepare. Panelists will share insights on what you can do to prepare for a review year, what to keep in mind when building your dossier, and what to expect from the tenure-track process.
Advancing to Full Professor: Dispelling the Myths
Are you an associate professor contemplating the leap to full professor but unsure about the process? Join us for an insightful panel discussion that aims to demystify the journey to full professorship. Our panel of esteemed faculty members will debunk common myths, share personal experiences, and offer practical advice on preparing your dossier, highlighting your achievements, and navigating the promotion process with confidence. Don't let misconceptions hold you back—empower yourself with the knowledge to advance your academic career.
Advancing Your Career: A Panel for Non-Tenure Line Faculty
This panel presentation is designed to support non-tenure line faculty as they prepare for the next promotion in their careers. Panelists will share insights on building a strong portfolio, positioning yourself for advancement, and navigating the promotion process with confidence.
