Taewon Kim's research interests are in understanding how the brain adapts to new challenges, with a specific emphasis on the behavioral and neurophysiological processes underlying the memory consolidation of new motor skills. His ultimate research goal is to translate this knowledge into enhancing rehabilitative interventions for individuals with unilateral impairments who need to acquire or re-learn essential motor skills.
