He was selected for the Danforth Associate Program in recognition of outstanding college teaching and nominated for the Beltone Distinguished Teaching Award in Audiology.
In 1968 Vic earned his B.S. in Speech Pathology and Audiology and his M.S. the following year in Audiology from Penn State. He completed his formal education when he received his Ph.D. in 1977 in the field of Audiology from the University of Maryland. His volunteer activities include serving on HHD’s Alumni Society Board. He holds the rank of chapter president of the Central Maryland chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association, for which he also edits the newsletter and serves as photographer. He takes particular pleasure in volunteering for Paws-4-Comfort, and enjoys visiting schools and senior centers with his dogs, Rocky and Charlie.
