Observing and discussing the social determinants of health

Centralia Field Trip

Students in the Health Policy and Administration course HPA 301W: Health Services Policy Issues, led by Diane Spokus, teaching professor of health policy and administration, took a field trip to Centralia, Pennsylvania, to observe and discuss the social determinants of health that predispose individuals and communities to future health problems.
