Chloe's primary research interest lies in understanding the influence of parents and families on children’s social-emotional development and well-being. Of particular interest is how individual characteristics, such as temperament, moderate parental influences on children’s development, within the framework of differential susceptibility theory. She is also heavily focused on examining longitudinal trajectories of how parenting affects children’s later life phases, including the intergenerational transmission of their parenting and family dynamics when children become parents themselves. Additionally, she is interested in the conceptualization and measurements of emerging psychological and parenting constructs.
