Professional Experience

Anne-Marie Chang's research involves the inter-relationships of sleep physiology and behavior, circadian rhythms, cardio-metabolic health, cognitive function and genomics. Research projects in my lab include epidemiological studies in large samples, intervention field studies, and intensive inpatient studies in the laboratory related to sleep loss and/or sleep extension on various health outcomes. Her previous work has examined the effects of light on sleep; particularly the light emitted from electronic media devices.

Grants and Research Projects

Genetic analysis of sleep and circadian rhythms, and interactions that influence cardio-metabolic function in humans; examination of environmental effects on sleep physiology, circadian rhythms, and neurobehavioral and cognitive performance.
