Dr. Proctor's research focuses on human cardiovascular aging, its functional consequences, sex-specific mechanisms, and potential therapeutic strategies. His laboratory's interests are also the effects on arterial & cardiac stiffness as well as control of skeletal muscle blood flow at rest and during exercise.
