Earn a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and Master of Public Health in 5 years

The Master of Public Health program prepares students for meaningful careers in public health. It offers flexible classroom and practice-based learning opportunities for full- and part-time students.

Program Overview

This integrated undergraduate-graduate (IUG) with Nutritional Sciences is an accelerated degree program, which allows qualified undergraduate students to earn both a B.S. in Nutritional Sciences and a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in five years of full-time academic study.

The MPH degree, offered through the Penn State College of Medicine Department of Public Health Sciences requires 42 credits, 12 of which can be double counted with the B.S. in Nutritional Sciences degree program requirements. The MPH courses are offered in-person at Penn State Hershey and online. Students enrolled in the program will begin taking graduate courses concurrently with undergraduate courses in their fourth year.
