Simulation Laboratory Spaces
The Athletic Training Simulation Learning Laboratory consists of three simulation clinical spaces, the Clinic Room, the Primary Care Room, and the Control Room, where students can learn and practice key healthcare skills for the athletic training field.
Clinic Room
This lab space is modeled after a traditional athletic training clinic and provides a realistic clinical setting for students to practice rehabilitation and treatment skills with volunteer patients. The room features high-low tables, privacy curtains, a rehabilitation area, and a variety of treatment tools.
Primary Care Exam Room
This space replicates a primary care provider room, allowing students to conduct mock patient examinations with healthcare equipment to inform proposed treatments and is equipped with an exam table, computer, and integrated wall diagnostic system.
Control Room
The Control Room is designed to allow simulation technicians to monitor and lead simulations in the various lab spaces using SimCapture software.
