Understanding the use of movement for prevention and treatment of chronic disease, promoting health, or the rehabilitation and treatment of injury, requires interdisciplinary training in academic areas such as biomechanics, exercise physiology, exercise and sport psychology, motor behavior, neuroscience, sports history, and philosophy. The Movement Science option in Penn State’s B.S. in Kinesiology program will give you all of this and more.

Upon graduation, you’ll be well prepared for a broad range of careers in biomedical and health-related fields, as well as graduate study in allied health, wellness, and medical fields, such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, physician's assistant, chiropractic, cardiac rehabilitation, or pre-medicine.
