If solving the world’s most pressing health and wellness challenges is on your personal and professional agenda, then you’ll want to take a closer look at the Biobehavioral Health (BBH) undergraduate program at Penn State.

In studying how to address and solve the problems of human health and illness, you’ll learn the science behind health by exploring the field from all angles.

B.S. in Biobehavioral Health

The B.S. in Biobehavioral Health offers unique learning and research opportunities for undergraduate students, both inside and outside of the classroom, we help to shape critical thinkers, well-rounded lifelong learners, and future leaders in a variety of biobehavorial health-related fields. With classes in chemistry, biology, statistics, genetics, public health, research methods, and individual differences, you’ll graduate from this program well prepared for an entry-level job in a vast range of biomedical and health-related specialties, including research, laboratory management, biomedical products, and health education — or advanced study in medicine, research, public health, environmental health and safety, and related fields. The program also includes unique hands-on learning opportunities, such as the BBH internship program, as well as opportunities to conduct laboratory research.
