- Minor Goals and Activities

- Develop the capacity to think, talk, and write critically about global health issues and challenges.
- Complete a five-week fieldwork experience in South Africa, Tanzania, Germany or Ecuador.
- Prepare for occupations that demand global thinking, understanding and experience.
- Eligibility

Global Health is a competitive minor, open to any Penn State student who is enrolled at the University Park campus and who has declared a major field of study.
- Next Steps

After attending an information session, students who intend to apply for the Global Health Minor should schedule an advising appointment to meet with the Global Health Minor Program Director, Dr. Dana Naughton. Application materials will be provided to students following their interview meeting.
