Penn State’s Biobehavioral Health (BBH) Department is involved in a wide range of research projects that push the boundaries of knowledge in our field.

Both undergraduate and graduate students can work with faculty in high-profile, real-world projects related to physiological processes, health behaviors, genetics and epigenetics, chronic disease, neuroscience, global health, psychological states and processes, environmental exposures, bioethics, health disparities, intervention science — and so much more. You'll gain experience interacting with participants, using research-related equipment and processes, collecting data, conducting data analyses, and presenting and publishing their findings.
