Health and Human Development Research Centers - Interdisciplinary research expertise spanning a wide array of domains and disciplines
Huck Institute Core Facilities - Variety of core laboratories performing services
Clinical Research Center (CRC) - Blood sampling, anthropometric measurements, medication administration, nursing support, etc. Providing infrastructure and services for investigators who conduct research with humans requires working in partnership with those investigators to implement and complete clinical research protocols
Animal Resource Program Clinical Pathology Testing - Animal testing services provided at PSU for hematology, blood gas, and blood chemistries.
Metabolomics - Gas chromatography and mass spectrometry testing services to identify and quantify the small (<1kDa) molecules present in plant and animal biofluids and tissue extracts.
Proteomics and Mass Spectrometry Core Facility - Mass spectrometry analysis (>1kDa), including identification and quantitation of proteins by liquid chromatography electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS-MS) or by matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF-TOF-MS).
