The purpose of the RPTM APG is to unite alumni of the Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Management and the College of Health and Human Development, to strengthen the professional reputation of the major, and to provide a means for alumni to connect with fellow alumni, faculty and students.

The APG sponsors programs and activities in four areas:

Mentoring

Participating in the College of Health and Human Development Mentoring Program; sponsoring career panel discussions and career-building workshops for students.

Awards

Nominating alumni for College of Health and Human Development awards.

Communications

Communicating with alumni about the RPTM department and its alumni, faculty and students.

Social/Professional Activities

Sponsoring social gatherings at professional conferences and other venues.
